Ride Format:

On Sunday road rides, we all start out as a group and stay together for the first 20-30k at a reasonably sane warm-up pace, (28-30kph). At the 20 to 30k point a ride leader will take back anyone who wants to keep their distance at around 50k, and pace at 28-30k. Those who wish to continue, can pick up the pace to around 34-36k, and continue for an 80-100k ride.
We extend the distance as desired.

Beginner's/easy paced road rides
will be held Saturday afternoons at
2:00 p.m., at a 20-25k pace, or at the
pace of the slowest rider.
First beginner's ride is January 29, 2011.
RSVP: Jeannette

Ride leaders:

We have five ride leaders:
Dale, Mark and Martin call any rides for either road or mountain biking.
Joe calls rides for mountain biking.
Jeannette calls beginner's rides.
If you wish to organize a ride, please ensure it is outside of the scheduled ride times, as all rides outside of these times are considered non-club rides. This is for insurance purposes. Thanks!!

Ride Etiquette:

There is an expectation of road and trail
etiquette. We do not just represent ourselves,
but also our sponsors and our community.
Please respect the rules of the road.
If you are not familiar with them, please ask.

Riding Etiquette Tip: When the leader of the
pace line, or rider ahead of you, indicates a hazard
such as a pothole or glass, please indicate down
the line for those behind you.
